Digital Wizardry: Creating Art and Audio

Creativity is to see what is, and then make what could be. Early on, you don’t need advanced software and complicated installations…all you need is Scratch. Designed by MIT, it provides an image editor and audio capture features right out of the box. Making your characters, stories, or even simple animated shorts jump off the screen is the name of the game. Record sounds, draw characters and backgrounds, and flex your creative muscles!

Online Course Requirements:

-Mac or Windows PC, or Chromebook only
-Visual coding environment is online
-WebCam
-Stable internet connection with access to Zoom Video Conferencing

In this course, you will:

Create and design characters
Draw custom backgrounds
Design and animate sprites
Experiment and explore to build creativity and confidence
