Description

The programme includes the following:

• 20 hours of tuition per week (General English or Business and Marketing English)
• Regular tutorials to monitor students personal and academic progression
• Access to the school’s social programme
• Students will obtain a certificate in General English or Business and Marketing English accredited by British Council
• Accommodation in Host Families Half Board
• Airports pick up and drop off with meet & greet (Airports: Gatwick, Heathrow)
• 1 HD every weekend with a guide (Bournemouth walking tour, Southampton, Jurassic Coast, Winchester)
• 1 FD every weekend with a guide (London, Oxford, Bath, Salisbury)

The topics that will be covered:

-Grammar
-Vocabulary including phrasal verbs
-Speaking, reading, writing, listening
-Pronunciation and phonology
-Idiomatic language
-Learning tasks including presentations and role-plays

What will I learn?

This course is tailored for at least 15 students proposing to undertake a Summer Camp programme. Students will study for 2 or 4 weeks in Bournemouth, UK. Summer camps consist of four hours of English teaching per day plus afternoon or evening activities and weekend travel to exciting towns and cities. Summer camps help students develop interdependence and interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural environment as well as enjoy memorable times with their friends.

The course will be delivered by BSMI teachers, and the entire programme will be managed by BSMI staff. The classes will be running from 09:00 am to 1:00 pm every day at the BSMI Campus in 4a Westover Road.

Additional Information (if any)

BSMI students will stay at UPS College residence, where they will also have access to all the facilities of the College.
The classes will run during the morning from 09:00 am to 1:00 pm at the College campus.

BSMI will run the Summer Camp Programme in Barcelona, Spain. Barcelona is a city on the coast of northeaster Spain. It is the capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Catalonia, as well as the second most populous municipality of Spain. Barcelona is a culturally fascinating place, with a strange mix of Catalonian nationalism and Spanish culture. Students will have the opportunity of studying English and at the same time getting in touch with one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
