Summer Camp in Barcelona

Description

The programme includes the following:

• 20 hours of tuition per week (General English or Business and Marketing English)
• Regular tutorials to monitor students personal and academic progression
• Access to the school’s social programme
• Students will obtain a certificate in General English or Business and Marketing English accredited by British Council
• Accommodation in Residence at the UPS College in Castelldefels
• Full board accommodation (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
• Public transports tickets
• Airports pick up and drop off (Airport: El Prat, Barcelona)
• 2 Activities per week (Cycling, trekking, swimming, volleyball on the beach)
• 3 full excursions (Sagrada Familia, Picasso Museum, Montjuic Mountain e Magic Fountain)

The topics that will be covered:

-Grammar
-Vocabulary including phrasal verbs
-Speaking, reading, writing, listening
-Pronunciation and phonology
-Idiomatic language
-Learning tasks including presentations and role-plays

What will I learn?

This course is tailored for at least 10 students proposing to undertake a Summer Camp programme. Students will study for 2 or 4 weeks in Spain, Barcelona. Summer camps consist of four hours of English teaching per day plus afternoon or evening activities and weekend travel to exciting towns and cities. Summer camps help students develop interdependence and interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural environment as well as enjoying memorable times with their friends.

The course will be delivered from BSMI teachers, and the entire programme will be managed from BSMI staff. The classes will be running from 09,00 to 13,00 every day at the

BSMI students will stay at UPS College residence, where they will also have access to all the facilities of the College.
The classes will run during the morning from 09:00 am to 1:00 pm at the College campus.

BSMI will run the Summer Camp Programme in Barcelona, Spain. Barcelona is a city on the coast of northeaster Spain. It is the capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Catalonia, as well as the second most populous municipality of Spain. Barcelona is a culturally fascinating place, with a strange mix of Catalonian nationalism and Spanish culture. Students will have the opportunity of studying English and at the same time getting in touch with one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
