Description

Trigonometry Tutoring

Trigonometry, contrary to popular belief, is more than just SohCahToa. Here, you’ll explore the relationship between the lengths and angles of triangles, but moreover, you’ll practice expressing that relationship as an equation and a function. If you design a top-down space adventure game like Asteroids or Galaga, trigonometric functions can even be used to create complex curving movement paths. It might seem counterintuitive that so much time and effort be spent on such a basic set of relationships, but this is typically your first exposure to infinite loops and curves in a function that sets the groundwork for more advanced math (heard of calculus?).
