Admission Key Facts:
All students registered to attend our English Language courses will be required to take an English Language Placement Test, which will assess the relative abilities of each student. Students are then placed into ability groups based on the results of their assessment, and the material that they study is tailored to the level of the class.
Once you have booked your place on a course we will send you information on how to take our online Placement Test. This test should take approximately one hour and be taken by the student at least one month prior to their arrival date.
Please note that Oxford Royale Academy English courses do not cater for beginners in English.

Introduction to Engineering for ages 13-15 – Course Summary
The Introduction to Engineering course from Oxford Royale Academy provides you with a comprehensive grounding in all things Engineering. The practical skills and theoretical knowledge gained give you a head start in future studies and careers in this competitive sector.
During the course, you will dive straight into the discipline, covering the diverse branches of Engineering Science including Civil, Structural and Mechanical Engineering. You will acquire practical skills through a series of design-led workshops, enabling you to gain a thorough understanding of the discipline. Classes also ensure that you are taught the fundamental principles of each strand of Engineering Science, leaving you well equipped for a future in Engineering.
Introduction to Engineering for ages 16-18 – Course Summary
Future-facing and intellectually challenging, Engineering is an exciting and rewarding discipline. This online summer Engineering course introduces you to the fundamentals of Engineering and gives you a taste of the wide range of options you have when studying Engineering at university. You will examine the challenges facing the modern engineer and explore some of the major unsolved problems that contemporary Engineering faces.
This course uses an applied approach, designed to give you as much opportunity as possible to stretch your academic skills, test out your understanding of theoretical concepts through practical tasks and university level problem-solving methods, and to explore different branches of Engineering. You are encouraged to consider Engineering as a multi-disciplinary subject, drawing on scientific theory and mathematics to understand and develop technical solutions.
